Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a surface-coated cutting tool in which a hard coating layer exhibits exceptional adhesion resistance and anomalous damage resistance. A surface-coated cutting tool having at least one hard coating layer on the surface of a tool base comprising a WC-based cemented carbide or a TiCN-based cermet, wherein the surface-coated cutting tool is characterized in that: 1) taking the composition of the hard coating layer to be represented by the formula (Ti(1 - x)ZrxyHfx(1 - y))N, the hard coating layer includes at least one composite nitride layer in which the content ratio x of the total amount of Zr and Hf relative to the total amount of Ti, Zr, and Hf, and the content ratio y of the total amount of Zr relative to the total amount of Zr and Hf, respectively satisfy the expressions 0.05 ≤ x ≤ 0.95 and 0 < y ≤ 1.0 (where x and y are both atomic ratios); 2) the composite nitride layer contains 0.001-0.030 at% of chlorine; 3) vertical crystal grains having an aspect ratio of at least 2 in a vertical cross-section occupy an area of at least 50% in the composite nitride layer; and 4) the film thickness of the composite nitride layer is 0.2-20 μm inclusive.
(FR) L'invention concerne un outil de coupe revêtu en surface dans lequel une couche de revêtement dure présente une résistance exceptionnelle à l'adhésion et une résistance accrue aux dommages. L'invention concerne un outil de coupe revêtu en surface ayant au moins une couche de revêtement dure sur la surface d'une base d'outil comprenant un carbure cémenté à base de WC ou un cermet à base de TiCN, l'outil de coupe revêtu en surface étant caractérisé en ce que: 1) en prenant la composition de la couche de revêtement dure à représenter par la formule (Ti(1 - x)ZrxyHfx(1 - y))N, la couche de revêtement dure comprend au moins une couche de nitrure composite dans laquelle le rapport de teneur x de la quantité totale de Zr et de Hf par rapport à la quantité totale de Ti, Zr et Hf, et le rapport de teneur y de la quantité totale de Zr par rapport à la quantité totale de Zr et de Hf satisfont respectivement les expressions 0,05 ≤ x ≤ 0,95 et 0 < y ≤ 1,0 (où x et y sont tous les deux des rapports atomiques); 2) la couche de nitrure composite contient 0,001-0,030% en pourcentage atomique de chlore; 3) des grains cristallins verticaux ayant un rapport d'aspect d'au moins 2 dans une section transversale verticale occupent une zone d'au moins 50% dans la couche de nitrure composite; et 4) l'épaisseur de film de la couche de nitrure composite est de 0,2 à 20 µm inclus.
(JA) 硬質被覆層がすぐれた耐溶着性と耐異常損傷性を発揮する表面被覆切削工具。 WC基超硬合金またはTiCN基サーメットからなる工具基体の表面に少なくとも一層の硬質被覆層を有する表面被覆切削工具であって、1)前記硬質被覆層は、組成式(Ti(1-x)ZrxyHfx(1-y))Nにて表わした場合、ZrとHfとの合量のTiとZrとHfとの合量に占める含有割合x、および、ZrのZrとHfとの合量に占める含有割合y(但し、x、yはいずれも原子比)が、それぞれ、0.05≦x≦0.95、および、0<y≦1.0を満足する複合窒化物層を少なくとも一層含み、2)前記複合窒化物層は、0.001~0.030原子%の塩素を含有し、3)前記複合窒化物層は、縦断面にてアスペクト比2以上の縦長結晶粒が占める面積率が50%以上であり、4)前記複合窒化物層は、その膜厚が0.2μm以上20μm以下であることを特徴とする表面被覆切削工具。
