Abstract:
(EN) The present invention addresses the problem of providing a liquid ejection apparatus and a liquid ejection head cleaning apparatus and method with which an increase in ejection failure is suppressed when a raised wiping member is brought into contact with a nozzle surface of a liquid ejection head to perform cleaning. The problem is solved by a liquid ejection head cleaning apparatus that brings a raised wiping member into contact with a nozzle surface of a liquid ejection head to perform first cleaning on the liquid ejection head, causes a nozzle of the liquid ejection head to perform first preliminary ejection of a liquid after the first cleaning, brings a non-raised wiping member into contact with the nozzle surface of the liquid ejection head after the first preliminary ejection to perform second cleaning on the liquid ejection head, and causes the nozzle of the liquid ejection head to perform preliminary ejection of the liquid after the second cleaning, wherein the number of times of ejection by the first preliminary ejection is greater than the number of times of ejection by the second preliminary ejection.
(FR) La présente invention aborde le problème de l'obtention d'un appareil d'éjection de liquide, et d'un appareil et d'un procédé de nettoyage de tête d'éjection de liquide, permettant de supprimer une augmentation de l'échec d'éjection lorsqu'un élément d'essuyage relevé est amené en contact avec une surface de buse d'une tête d'éjection de liquide afin d'effectuer un nettoyage. La solution selon la présente invention porte sur un appareil de nettoyage de tête d'éjection de liquide qui amène un élément d'essuyage relevé en contact avec une surface de buse d'une tête d'éjection de liquide afin d'effectuer un premier nettoyage sur la tête d'éjection de liquide, amène une buse de la tête d'éjection de liquide à effectuer une première éjection préliminaire d'un liquide après le premier nettoyage, amène un élément d'essuyage non relevé en contact avec la surface de buse de la tête d'éjection de liquide après la première éjection préliminaire afin d'effectuer un second nettoyage sur la tête d'éjection de liquide, et amène la buse de la tête d'éjection de liquide à effectuer une éjection préliminaire du liquide après le second nettoyage, le nombre d'éjections lors de la première éjection préliminaire étant supérieur au nombre d'éjections lors de la seconde éjection préliminaire.
