Abstract:
(EN) The present disclosure relates to an information processing device and method with which a reduction in encoding efficiency can be suppressed. In a comparison of voxel data wherein point cloud data has been quantized, a degree of correlation between distribution patterns of the voxel data being compared is calculated on the basis of a subjective feature of the distribution patterns of the voxel data values. For example, the present disclosure can be applied to information processing devices, image processing devices, electronic devices, information processing methods, programs, and the like.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de traitement d'informations qui permettent de supprimer une réduction de l'efficacité de codage. Lors d’une comparaison des données de voxel dans lesquelles des données de nuage de points ont été quantifiées, un degré de corrélation entre les motifs de distribution des données de voxel soumis à la comparaison est calculé d’après une caractéristique subjective des motifs de distribution des valeurs de données de voxel. Par exemple, l’invention peut s’appliquer à des dispositifs de traitement d'informations, des dispositifs de traitement d'image, des dispositifs électroniques, des procédés de traitement d'informations, des programmes et des éléments analogues.
