Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a liquid copolymer formed by ring-opening copolymerization of cyclopentene, the copolymer comprising monomer units derived from cyclopentene and monomer units derived from a norbornene compound, wherein the content of the cyclopentene-derived monomer units is 60-95 wt%. The copolymer includes a hydroxyl group at a terminal of the copolymer chain and has a melt viscosity, as measured at a temperature of 25°C with a Brookfield viscometer, of less than 500 Pa∙s.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un copolymère liquide formé par copolymérisation par ouverture de cycle de cyclopentène, le copolymère comprenant des motifs monomères dérivés de cyclopentène et des motifs monomères dérivés d'un composé norbornène, la teneur en motifs monomères dérivés du cyclopentène étant de 60 à 95 % en masse. Le copolymère comprend un groupement hydroxyle au niveau d'une borne de la chaîne de copolymère et présente une viscosité à l'état fondu, telle que mesurée à une température de 25 °C avec un viscosimètre Brookfield, inférieure à 500 Pa∙s.
