Abstract:
(EN) A display device according to the present disclosure comprises: a light source for emitting a plurality of prescribed colors of light; an image data processing unit that divides a unit frame into a plurality of subframes on the basis of input image signals including a plurality of prescribed colors of image signals to generate monochromatic subframe images with each of the plurality of prescribed colors while generating mixed colored subframe images different from the plurality of prescribed colors on the basis of at least two color image signals in the plurality of prescribed colors; a display element that modulates light emitted from the light source on the basis of each subframe image generated by the image data processing unit; and a light source control unit that emits light of a color corresponding to the monochromatic subframe image from the light source during a period of displaying a monochromatic subframe image within a unit frame period while emitting at least two colors of light from the light source on a sequential time-share basis during a period of displaying a mixed colored subframe image.
(FR) Un dispositif d'affichage selon la présente invention comprend : une source de lumière émettant une pluralité de couleurs de lumière prescrites ; une unité de traitement de données d'image qui divise une trame unitaire en une pluralité de sous-trames sur la base de signaux d'image d'entrée comprenant une pluralité de couleurs prescrites de signaux d'image pour générer des images de sous-trames monochromatiques avec chacune de la pluralité de couleurs prescrites tout en générant des images de sous-trames colorées mélangées différentes de la pluralité de couleurs prescrites sur la base d'au moins deux signaux d'image couleur dans la pluralité de couleurs prescrites ; un élément d'affichage qui module la lumière émise par la source de lumière sur la base de chaque image de sous-trame générée par l'unité de traitement de données d'image ; et une unité de commande de source de lumière qui émet de la lumière d'une couleur correspondant à l'image de sous-trame monochromatique à partir de la source de lumière pendant une période d'affichage d'une image de sous-trame monochrome à l'intérieur d'une période de trame unitaire tout en émettant au moins deux couleurs de lumière provenant de la source de lumière sur la base d'une répartition temporelle séquentielle <b> </b> pendant une période d'affichage d'une image de sous-trame colorée mixte.
