Abstract:
(EN) To reduce power consumption in an image pickup apparatus that captures a plurality of pieces of image data. An image pickup apparatus includes a signal processing unit and a control unit.The signal processing unit executes, in accordance with a predetermined control signal, either compound-eye processing for synthesizing a plurality of pieces of image data by carrying out signal processing on each of the plurality of pieces of image data or monocular processing for carrying out the signal processing on any one of the plurality of pieces of image data. The control unit supplies the predetermined control signal to the signal processing unit and causes one of the compound-eye processing and the monocular processing to be switched to the other one of the compound-eye processing and the monocular processing, on a basis of a result of a comparison between a measured predetermined physical amount and a predetermined threshold value.
(FR) Le but de la présente invention est de réduire la consommation d'énergie d’un appareil de capture d'image qui capture une pluralité d'éléments de données d'image. Un appareil de capture d'image comprend une unité de traitement de signal et une unité de commande. L'unité de traitement de signal exécute, conformément à un signal de commande prédéterminé, soit un traitement d'œil composé pour synthétiser une pluralité d'éléments de données d'image en effectuant un traitement de signal sur chaque élément de la pluralité d'éléments de données d'image, soit un traitement monoculaire pour effectuer le traitement de signal sur un élément quelconque de la pluralité d'éléments de données d'image. L'unité de commande fournit le signal de commande prédéterminé à l'unité de traitement de signal et amène le traitement d'œil composé ou le traitement monoculaire à faire l’objet d’une commutation vers l'autre traitement parmi le traitement d'œil composé et le traitement monoculaire, sur la base du résultat de la comparaison entre une quantité physique prédéterminée mesurée et une valeur seuil prédéterminée.
