(EN) This display device has: a base member having a first surface and a second surface on the reverse side of the first surface; a first region that includes a display section disposed on the first surface of the base member; a second region including wiring disposed on the first surface of the base member; a third region that includes a terminal section disposed on the first surface of the base member, and a drive circuit that outputs a data signal to the display section; and an insulating layer disposed across the first region and the second region, said insulating layer being on the first surface of the base member. The insulating layer has a through groove in the second region, said throughh groove being disposed along the display section, and having a bottom surface from which the base member is exposed, and side wall surfaces that include a plurality of steps. The wiring is disposed to intersect the through groove.
(FR) L’invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage comprenant : un élément de base comprenant une première surface et une seconde surface du côté inverse de la première surface ; une première zone qui comprend une section d'affichage disposée sur la première surface de l'élément de base ; une deuxième zone comprenant un câblage disposé sur la première surface de l'élément de base ; une troisième zone qui comprend une section de terminal disposée sur la première surface de l'élément de base, ainsi qu’un circuit d'attaque qui transmet un signal de données à la section d'affichage ; et une couche isolante disposée à travers la première zone et la seconde zone, ladite couche isolante étant sur la première surface de l'élément de base. La couche isolante comprend une rainure traversante dans la seconde zone, ladite rainure traversante étant disposée le long de la section d'affichage et comprenant une surface inférieure à partir de laquelle l'élément de base est exposé, ainsi que des surfaces de parois latérales qui comprennent une pluralité d’échelons. Le câblage est disposé de façon à croiser la rainure traversante.
