Abstract:
(EN) A high-capacity and a high-performance rechargeable battery is provided by forming a rechargeable battery stack that includes a spalled material structure that includes a spalled cathode material layer that has at least one textured surface and a stressor layer that has at least one textured surface. The stressor layer serves as a cathode current collector of the rechargeable battery stack. The at least one textured surface of the spalled cathode material layer forms a large interface area between the cathode and electrolyte which is formed above the spalled cathode material layer. The large interface area between the cathode and the electrolyte reduces interface resistance within the rechargeable battery stack.
(FR) L'invention porte sur une pile rechargeable à haute capacité et hautes performances qui est obtenue par formation d'un empilement de pile rechargeable qui comprend une structure de matériau écaillé comprenant une couche de matériau de cathode écaillé qui présente au moins une surface texturée et une couche de contrainte qui présente au moins une surface texturée. La couche de contrainte sert de collecteur de courant de cathode de l'empilement de pile rechargeable. La ou les surfaces texturées de la couche de matériau de cathode écaillé forment une grande aire d'interface entre la cathode et un électrolyte qui est formé au-dessus de la couche de matériau de cathode écaillé. La grande aire d'interface entre la cathode et l'électrolyte réduit la résistance d'interface à l'intérieur de l'empilement de pile rechargeable.
