Abstract:
(EN) Methods of forming high-capacity and high-performance rechargeable batteries are provided by forming a rechargeable battery stack that includes a spalled material structure that includes a spalled cathode material that is attached to a stressor material. The spalled cathode material may include a single crystalline or polycrystalline cathode material that is devoid of polymeric binders. The stressor material serves as a cathode current collector of the rechargeable battery stack.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés de formation de batteries rechargeables à haute capacité et à haute performance par formation d'un empilement de batteries rechargeables qui comprend une structure de matériau écaillé qui comprend un matériau de cathode écaillé qui est fixé à un matériau de contrainte. Le matériau de cathode écaillé peut comprendre un matériau de cathode monocristallin ou polycristallin qui est dépourvu de liants polymères. Le matériau de contrainte sert de collecteur de courant de cathode de l'empilement de batteries rechargeables.
