Abstract:
(EN) A resizing of detection entities of a hybrid matrix image sensor (100) comprises modifying electrical connections that are carried by a detection circuit (10) and/or a reading circuit (20), and/or assembly elements (30). A plurality of photosensitive elements (111-115) can also be grouped to form a single reading cell (213), in order to obtain resized detection entities that are more suitable for certain image sensor applications. Reading circuit resources can be simultaneously reallocated from reading cells that are no longer used (211, 212, 214, 215) to those (213) that are connected to resized detection entities. Such modifications do not require long, risky or onerous developments, and do not call into question an approval for space use that was already obtained for the image sensor in its initial configuration.
(FR) Un redimensionnement des entités de détection d'un capteur d'image matriciel hybride (100) comprend de modifier des connexions électriques qui sont portées par un circuit de détection (10) et/ou un circuit de lecture (20), et/ou les éléments d'assemblage (30). Plusieurs éléments photosensibles (111 - 115) peuvent ainsi être regroupés pour une même cellule de lecture (213), afin d'obtenir des entités de détection redimensionnées qui sont mieux adaptées pour certaines applications du capteur d'image. Des ressources du circuit de lecture peuvent simultanément être réaffectées, à partir de cellules de lecture devenues inutilisées (211, 212, 214, 215) à celles (213) qui sont connectées aux entités de détection redimensionnées. De telles modifications ne nécessitent pas de développements qui soient longs, risqués et onéreux, ni ne remet en cause une homologation pour utilisation spatiale qui aurait déjà été obtenue pour le capteur d'image dans sa configuration initiale.
