(EN) A method, apparatus (63) and computer program comprising: obtaining (60) a first audio signal from at least a first microphone (1) located at a first distance from an audio source (5A - 5C); obtaining (60) a local audio signal from a local microphone (3A - 3C) wherein the local microphone is located closer to the audio source (5A - 5C) than the first microphone (1); identifying (62) the audio source using the first audio signal and the local audio signal; using the identified audio source to determine (64) a delay between the first audio signal and the local audio signal: and using the determined delay to determine (66) the length of the first audio signal and the local audio signal to be made available for processing so as to enable temporal alignment of at least the first audio signal and the local audio signal.
(FR) L’invention concerne un procédé, un appareil (63), et un programme d’ordinateur. Le procédé consiste à : obtenir (60) un premier signal audio à partir d'au moins un premier microphone (1) situé à une première distance d'une source audio (5A - 5C) ; obtenir (60) un signal audio local à partir d'un microphone local (3A - 3C), le microphone local étant situé plus près de la source audio (5A 05C) que le premier microphone (1) ; identifier (62) la source audio au moyen du premier signal audio et du signal audio local ; utiliser la source audio identifiée pour déterminer (64) un retard entre le premier signal audio et le signal audio local ; et utiliser le retard déterminé pour déterminer (66) la longueur du premier signal audio et du signal audio local devant être rendue disponible pour un traitement de sorte à permettre un alignement temporel d'au moins le premier signal audio et le signal audio local.
