Abstract:
(EN) The invention mainly relates to a method for protecting at least one electronic system (2) against a voltage surge caused by an adverse meteorological event. The protection method is essentially characterised in that it comprises steps of gathering and analysing meteorological data originating from a remote server (18) in order to determine a danger level of a meteorological event likely to cause a voltage surge and, when the danger level exceeds a main warning threshold, a step of displaying a warning message on a display terminal (5) in order to notify a user of said terminal of a risk of a voltage surge.
(FR) L'invention porte principalement sur un procédé de protection d'au moins un système électronique (2) contre une surtension provoquée par un événement météorologique indésirable. Le procédé de protection est essentiellement caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend des étapes de récupération et d'analyse de données météorologiques provenant d'un serveur distant (18) pour déterminer un niveau de dangerosité d'un événement météorologique susceptible de provoquer une surtension et, lorsque le niveau de dangerosité dépasse un seuil principal d'alerte, une étape d'affichage d'un message d'alerte sur un terminal d'affichage (5) pour prévenir un utilisateur dudit terminal d'un risque de surtension.
