Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method for propelling an aircraft. In order to obtain electric energy, fuel is combusted and an electric machine is used, wherein the fuel is used to cool at least one part of the electric machine, and the fuel contains natural gas. The propulsion system is designed to propel an aircraft in particular according to the aforementioned method and has an electric machine in order to obtain electric energy by combusting a fuel, wherein a natural gas tank is provided which is designed to store the fuel made with natural gas and which is part of a cooling device that is designed to cool at least one part of the electric machine. The aircraft has such a propulsion system.
(FR) L’invention concerne un procédé de propulsion d’un aéronef selon lequel un carburant est brûlé et un moteur électrique est utilisé pour obtenir de l’énergie électrique, le carburant étant utilisé pour refroidir au moins une partie du moteur électrique et contenant du gaz naturel. L’invention concerne également un système de propulsion conçu en particulier pour la propulsion d’un aéronef selon le procédé ci-dessus, et le système de propulsion présente un moteur électrique servant à obtenir de l’énergie électrique par combustion d’un carburant, le système comportant un réservoir de gaz naturel qui est conçu pour stocker le carburant composé de gaz naturel et qui fait partie d'un dispositif de refroidissement conçu pour refroidir au moins une partie du moteur électrique. L’aéronef est muni d'un tel système de propulsion.
(DE) Bei dem Verfahren zum Antrieb eines Flugzeugs wird zur Gewinnung elektrischer Energie ein Brennstoff verbrannt und eine elektrische Maschine herangezogen, wobei der Brennstoff zur Kühlung zumindest eines Teils der elektrischen Maschine herangezogen wird und Erdgas aufweist. Das Antriebssystem ist zum Antrieb eines Flugzeugs insbesondere gemäß dem vorgenannten Verfahren ausgebildet und weist zur Gewinnung elektrischer Energie mittels Verbrennung eines Brennstoffs eine elektrische Maschine auf, wobei ein Erdgastank vorgesehen ist, welcher zur Vorhaltung des mit Erdgas gebildeten Brennstoffs ausgebildet ist, und welcher Teil einer Kühleinrichtung ist, die zur Kühlung zumindest eines Teils der elektrischen Maschine ausgebildet ist. Das Flugzeug weist ein solches Antriebssystem auf.
