Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a composition for feeding a ruminant comprising i) a non-protein nitrogen compound, and ii) a coating surrounding the non-protein nitrogen compound, wherein said coating comprises one or more layers of a mixture of a saturated fat and a fatty acid, and said coating comprises from 60 wt.-% +/-10% to 85wt.-% +/-10% of the saturated fat, e.g. hydrogenated fat, and from 15wt.-% +/-10% to 40 wt.-% +/-10% of the fatty acid, each based on the total weight of the coating; a process for the preparation of said composition and its uses, e.g.,for improving nitrogen utilization in a ruminant.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une composition pour l'alimentation d'un ruminant comprenant i) un composé azoté non protéique, et ii) un revêtement entourant le composé azoté non protéique, ledit revêtement comprenant une ou plusieurs couches d'un mélange d'une graisse saturée et d'un acide gras, et ledit revêtement comprenant de 60 % massiques +/- 10 % à 85 % massiques +/- 10 % de graisse saturée, par exemple de graisse hydrogénée, et de 15 % massiques +/- 10 % à 40 % massiques +/- 10 % d'acide gras, chacun sur la base du poids total du revêtement ; l'invention concerne en outre un procédé de préparation de ladite composition et ses utilisations, par exemple, pour améliorer l'utilisation d'azote chez un ruminant.
