(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage comprenant : un composant de commande pour commander électriquement l'intensité de la lumière transmise à travers celui-ci à partir d'un rétroéclairage ; et un composant optique entre ledit rétroéclairage et ledit composant de commande conçu pour convertir une lumière d'entrée présentant au moins une propriété directionnelle sensiblement uniforme sur une zone au niveau d'un côté d'entrée du composant optique en lumière de sortie présentant une variation substantielle dans ladite au moins une propriété directionnelle à travers une zone correspondante au niveau d'un côté de sortie du composant optique.
