Abstract:
(EN) In accordance with one or more embodiments herein, a system (100) for estimating the friction between a road surface (300) and a tire of a vehicle (200) comprising at least one first sensor (130) and at least one vehicle processing device (110) containing a friction estimation algorithm which is arranged to estimate the friction between the road surface and the tire of the vehicle (200) based on friction related measurements is provided. The vehicle processing device (110) is arranged to: receive an estimate of the expected friction between the road surface (300) and the tire of the vehicle (200) from a central processing device (120), from a storage device (150) in the vehicle (200), or from at least one second sensor (140) in the vehicle (200), such as e.g. a camera; adapt the friction estimation algorithm based on said received estimate of the expected friction; receive at least one friction related measurement from the at least one first sensor (130) in the vehicle (200); and use the adapted friction estimation algorithm to perform an estimation of the friction between the road surface (300) and the tire of the vehicle (200) based on the at least one friction related measurement.
(FR) Selon un ou plusieurs modes de réalisation de la présente invention, un système (100) permettant d'estimer le frottement entre une surface de route (300) et un pneu d'un véhicule (200) comprend au moins un premier capteur (130) et au moins un dispositif de traitement de véhicule (110) contenant un algorithme d'estimation de frottement qui est agencé pour estimer le frottement entre la surface de route et le pneu du véhicule (200) sur la base de mesures liées au frottement. Le dispositif de traitement de véhicule (110) est conçu pour : recevoir une estimation du frottement attendu entre la surface de route (300) et le pneu du véhicule (200) à partir d'un dispositif de traitement central (120), à partir d'un dispositif de stockage (150) dans le véhicule (200), ou à partir d'au moins un second capteur (140) dans le véhicule (200), comme par exemple une caméra ; adapter l'algorithme d'estimation de frottement sur la base de ladite estimation reçue du frottement attendu ; recevoir au moins une mesure liée au frottement à partir dudit au moins un premier capteur (130) dans le véhicule (200) ; et utiliser l'algorithme d'estimation de frottement adapté pour effectuer une estimation du frottement entre la surface de route (300) et le pneu du véhicule (200) sur la base de la ou des mesures liées au frottement.
