Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method of controlling movement of a robotic cleaning device (100) over an area to be cleaned, and a robotic cleaning device (100) performing the method. In an aspect of the invention, a method of controlling movement of a robotic cleaning device (100) over an area to be cleaned is provided. The method comprises storing (S101) at least one representation (10) of the area over which the robotic cleaning device (100) is to move, receiving (S102) an instruction to execute a cleaning program, localizing (S103), in response to the instruction, the robotic cleaning device (100) relative to the stored representation (10), and moving (S104) over the area to be cleaned as stipulated by the cleaning program by taking into account the stored representation (10).
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de commande de déplacement d'un dispositif de nettoyage robotique (100) sur une surface devant être nettoyée, et un dispositif de nettoyage robotique mettant en œuvre le procédé. Un aspect de l’invention concerne un procédé de commande de déplacement d’un dispositif de nettoyage robotique (100) sur une surface à nettoyer. Le procédé consiste à stocker (S101) au moins une représentation (10) de la zone sur laquelle le dispositif de nettoyage robotique (100) doit se déplacer, à recevoir (S102) une instruction pour exécuter un programme de nettoyage, à localiser (S103), en réponse à l'instruction, le dispositif de nettoyage robotique (100) par rapport à la représentation stockée (10), et à le déplacer (S104) sur la zone à nettoyer comme stipulé par le programme de nettoyage en prenant en compte la représentation stockée (10).
