Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a polycarbonate composition and the process for the production thereof and molded articles. The polycarbonate composition provided in the present invention comprises A) 8-70 wt. %of a polycarbonate component, B) 25-90 wt. %of a polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer component, C) a flame retardant component, which comprises 0.5-6 wt. %of a cyclic phosphazene of formula (X) and D) an impact modifier component, which comprises 0.5-6 wt. %of methyl methacrylate-butadiene-styrene, with the above weight percentages based on said polycarbonate composition as 100 wt. %. The polycarbonate composition provided in the present invention has a high flame-retardant level, an excellent low-temperature impact-resistant property and good heat resistance, and is suitable for the use requirement of casings for electrical devices which have relatively high flame-retardant levels (such as UL94 5VB) and require an excellent low-temperature impact-resistant property.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une composition de polycarbonate et le procédé pour la production de celle-ci et d'articles moulés. La composition de polycarbonate selon la présente invention comprend A) 8 à 70 % en poids d'un composant polycarbonate, B) 25 à 90 % en poids d'un composant copolymère de polysiloxane-polycarbonate, C) un composant ignifugeant, qui comprend 0,5 à 6 % en poids d'un phosphazène cyclique de formule (X), et D) un composant modificateur de la résistance au choc, qui comprend 0,5 à 6 % en poids de méthacrylate de méthyle-butadiène-styrène, les pourcentages en poids ci-dessus étant basés sur ladite composition de polycarbonate qui représente 100 % en poids. La composition de polycarbonate selon la présente invention présente un niveau de caractère ignifuge élevé, une excellente propriété de résistance au choc à basse température et une bonne résistance à la chaleur et elle est appropriée pour les exigences d'utilisation de boîtiers pour des appareils électriques qui ont des niveaux de caractère ignifuge relativement élevés (tels que UL94 5VB) et qui exigent une excellente propriété de résistance au choc à basse température.
