Abstract:
(EN) A bicomponent fiber having a sheath and a core, wherein: the core comprises at least 50 wt. %of an ethylene/alpha-olefin block copolymer having a density of 0.860 g/cc –0.885 g/cc and a melt index, I2, of 10 g/10 min to 60 g/10 min; and the sheath comprises at least 50 wt. %of a propylene-based elastomer having a melt flow ratio, MFR, of 30 g/10 min to 250 g/10 min; wherein the core/sheath viscosity ratio is from 1:1 to 5:1 at a shear rate of 1,000/sto 5,000/s.
(FR) L'invention concerne une fibre à deux constituants ayant une enveloppe et une âme. L'âme comprend au moins 50 % en poids d'un copolymère séquencé d'éthylène/alpha-oléfine ayant une densité allant de 0,860 g/cc à -0,885 g/cc et un indice de fusion (I2) allant de 10 g/10 min à 60 g/10 min; et l'enveloppe comprend au moins 50 % en poids d'un élastomère à base de propylène ayant un rapport de fluidité à chaud (MFR) allant de 30 g/10 min à 250 g/10 min. Le rapport de viscosité âme/enveloppe va de 1:1 à 5:1 à une vitesse de cisaillement allant de 1 000/s à 5 000/s.
