Abstract:
(EN) An apparatus includes one or more LEDs (304) configured to be coupled to a power supply (302) and to generate illumination, such as to generate a reticle (200) in an optical scope (104). The apparatus also includes a first switch (316) coupled in series with the one or more LEDs. The first switch is configured to selectively activate and deactivate the one or more LEDs based on whether the first switch is turned on or off. The apparatus further includes a low power detector (308) configured to sense a low power condition of the power supply and to repeatedly turn the first switch on and off in response to the low power condition to cause the one or more LEDs to blink. The low power detector is configured to turn the first switch on and off at a given rate, and the given rate increases as the power supply is depleted.
(FR) L’invention concerne un appareil qui inclut une ou plusieurs DEL (304) conçues pour être couplées à une alimentation électrique (302) et pour générer un éclairage, de manière à générer un réticule (200) dans un viseur optique (104). L’appareil inclut également un premier commutateur (316) couplé en série avec la ou les DEL. Le premier commutateur est conçu pour activer et désactiver sélectivement la ou les DEL selon que le premier commutateur est activé ou désactivé. L’appareil inclut en outre un détecteur de basse puissance (308) conçu pour détecter une condition à basse puissance de l’alimentation électrique et pour activer et désactiver le premier commutateur de manière répétitive en réponse à la condition de basse puissance pour faire clignoter la ou les DEL. Le détecteur de basse puissance est conçu pour activer ou désactiver le premier commutateur à une vitesse donnée, et la vitesse donnée augmente à mesure que l’alimentation électrique se vide.
