Abstract:
(EN) A rope conveyor system (10) is described in which a conveyor belt (12) is suspended from a flexible elongate member (14). The conveyor belt (12) has a pair of carry rollers (16a) and (16b) provided on respective first and second edges of the conveyor belt (12) for rolling engagement with the flexible elongate member (14). In use, when the conveyor belt (12) is loaded with material 18 and is suspended from the flexible elongate member (14), the (belt 12) assumes a partially-enclosed curved shape in cross-section. Typically first and second elongate members (14a) and (14b) are provided and the pair of carry rollers (16a) and (16b) respectively engages with the first and second elongate members (14a) and (14b). Advantageously when the belt (12) is filled with material (18), and it assumes such a partially-enclosed curved or 'water- drop' shape, it will apply pressure to the enclosed material (18) and thus provide additional resistance against sliding movement of the material. The enclosed belt configuration allows for high capacity conveying of material over steep inclines, typically up to 30° to 40° to the horizontal.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système de transporteur à corde (10) dans lequel une courroie transporteuse (12) est suspendue à un élément allongé flexible (14). La courroie transporteuse (12) comporte une paire de rouleaux de transport (16a) et (16b) disposés sur des premier et second bords respectifs de la courroie transporteuse (12) pour venir en prise par roulement avec l'élément allongé flexible (14). Lors de l'utilisation, lorsque la courroie transporteuse (12) est chargée de matériau (18) et est suspendue à l'élément allongé flexible (14), la courroie (12) prend une forme incurvée partiellement fermée en coupe transversale. De façon générale, des premier et second éléments allongés (14a) et (14b) sont prévus et la paire de rouleaux de transport (16a) et (16b) viennent respectivement en prise avec les premier et second éléments allongés (14a) et (14b). De manière avantageuse, lorsque la courroie (12) est remplie d'un matériau (18) et qu'elle adopte une forme incurvée partiellement fermée ou « de goutte d'eau », elle applique une pression sur le matériau renfermé (18) et, donc, fournit une résistance supplémentaire contre le mouvement de glissement du matériau. La configuration de courroie fermée permet un transport à grande capacité de matériau sur des pentes raides, généralement jusqu'à 30° à 40° par rapport à l'horizontale.
