Abstract
(EN)
A process of treating wood chips for reduction of the content of undesirable inorganic elements prior to cooking in a production line for chemical pulp, wherein the chips are (I) squeezed at atmospheric pressure by volumetric compression in a first compression means, whereby entrapped air escapes; (II) the squeezed chips are allowed to expand in a first acidic impregnation liquor, whereby the wood chips absorb first acidic impregnation liquor; (Ill) the expanded chips are: squeezed at atmospheric pressure by volumetric compression in a second compression means, whereby said first acidic impregnation liquor escapes; (IV) the squeezed chips from step (III) are allowed to expand in a second acidic impregnation liquor, whereby the chips absorb said second acidic impregnation Iiquor; and (V) the expanded chips are squeezed at atmospheric pressure by volumetric compression in a third compression means, whereby the second acidic impregnation liquor escapes from the volumes.

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de copeaux de bois visant à réduire la teneur en éléments inorganiques indésirables avant de procéder à la cuisson dans une chaîne de production de pâte chimique, les copeaux étant (I) comprimé à pression atmosphérique par compression volumétrique dans un premier moyen de compression, moyennant quoi l'air piégé s'échappe; (II) les copeaux pressés sont autorisés à se dilater dans une première liqueur d'imprégnation acide permettant aux copeaux de bois d'absorber une première liqueur d'imprégnation acide; (Ill) les copeaux dilatés sont : pressés à pression atmosphérique par compression volumétrique dans un second moyen de compression, moyennant quoi ladite première liqueur d'imprégnation acide s'échappe; (IV) les copeaux pressés de l'étape (III) peuvent se dilater dans une seconde liqueur d'imprégnation acide permettant aux copeaux d'absorber ladite seconde liqueur d'imprégnation acide; et (V) les copeaux dilatés sont pressés à pression atmosphérique par compression volumétrique dans un troisième moyen de compression, ce par quoi la seconde liqueur d'imprégnation acide s'échappe des volumes.
