A shock-absorbing member (10) in which a wood material (12) is embedded in and integrated with a resin cover material (20), and the wood material (12) is depressed when receiving an impact load (F) so as to absorb a portion of the impact load (F), wherein seal members (18) that air-tightly cover both wood material end surfaces extending in the axial direction of the age rings (12K) are provided between said end surfaces and the inner surfaces of the cover material (20).

L’invention concerne un organe amortisseur (10) comprenant un matériau ligneux (12) qui est incorporé dans un matériau de revêtement en résine (20) et intégré à ce dernier, le matériau ligneux (12) s'enfonçant lors de la réception d'une force d'impact (F) afin d'amortir une partie de la force d'impact (F). Des éléments d'étanchéité (18) qui recouvrent hermétiquement les deux surfaces d'extrémité du matériau ligneux s'étendant dans la direction axiale d'anneaux de croissance (12K) sont disposés entre lesdites surfaces d'extrémité et les surfaces internes du matériau de revêtement (20).

木材(12)が樹脂の被覆材(20)に埋め込まれて一体化されており、木材(12)が衝撃荷重(F)を受けて潰れることで、衝撃荷重(F)の一部を吸収する衝撃吸収部材(10)であって、木材(12)の年輪(12k)の軸心方向における両端面と被覆材(20)の内面間には、木材(12)の両端面を気密状態で覆うシール材(18)が設けられている。
