Abstract

A technique for allocating transmission bandwidth in a wireless network includes logically organizing transmission resources along a two-dimensional grid of physical resource blocks (PRBs), where each PRB is made up of a first equal number of time slots along a time dimension and a second equal number of subcarriers along a frequency dimension; and allocating PRBs to data transmissions such that locations of PRBs are hopped for successive transmissions within the two-dimensional grid.

L'invention se rapporte à une technique d'attribution de largeur de bande de transmission dans un réseau sans fil, comprenant l'organisation logique des ressources de transmission le long d'une grille bidimensionnelle de blocs de ressources physiques (PRB), chaque PRB étant constitué d'un premier nombre égal de créneaux temporels le long d'une dimension temporelle et d'un deuxième nombre égal de sous-porteuses le long d'une dimension fréquentielle ; et l'attribution de PRB à des transmissions de données de telle sorte que des emplacements de PRB sont sautés pour des transmissions successives à l'intérieur de la grille bidimensionnelle.
