In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus obtain a signal from a remote wireless node. The apparatus may switch between a first mode and a second mode in response to the signal. The apparatus may sense the shared transmission medium and sense if an absence of traffic is detected. The apparatus may delay data transmission for a fixed time interval from detecting the absence of traffic. The apparatus may initiate the data transmission at the end of the fixed time interval if operating in the first mode or initiate the data transmission at the end of a random time interval following the fixed time interval if operation in the second mode.

Selon un aspect, l'invention concerne un procédé, un support lisible par ordinateur et un appareil. L'appareil obtient un signal à partir d'un nœud sans fil distant. L'appareil peut commuter entre un premier mode et un second mode en réponse au signal. L'appareil peut détecter le support de transmission partagé et détecter si une absence de trafic est détectée. L'appareil peut retarder la transmission de données pendant un intervalle de temps fixé à partir de la détection d'absence de trafic. L'appareil peut lancer la transmission des données à la fin de l'intervalle de temps fixé s'il fonctionne dans le premier mode ou lancer la transmission des données à la fin d'un intervalle de temps aléatoire consécutif à l'intervalle de temps fixé s'il fonctionne dans le deuxième mode.
