One variation of a tram system includes: a chassis; a latch configured to selectively engage a latch receiver mounted to an aircraft; an alignment feature adjacent the latch and configured to engage an alignment receiver mounted to the aircraft and to communicate acceleration and braking forces from the chassis into the aircraft; an optical sensor facing upwardly from the chassis; a drivetrain configured to accelerate and decelerate the chassis along a runway; and a controller configured to detect an optical fiducial arranged on the aircraft in optical images recorded by the optical sensor adjust a speed of the drivetrain to longitudinally align the alignment feature with the alignment receiver based on positions of the optical fiducial detected in the optical images, trigger the latch to engage the latch receiver once the aircraft has descended onto the chassis, and trigger the drivetrain to actively decelerate the chassis during a landing routine.

L'invention porte sur une variante d'un système de chariot guidé, lequel système comprend : un châssis ; un verrou configuré de façon à venir en prise de façon sélective avec un récepteur de verrou monté sur un aéronef ; un élément d'alignement adjacent au verrou et configuré de façon à venir en prise avec un récepteur d'alignement monté sur l'aéronef et de façon à communiquer des forces d'accélération et de freinage à partir du châssis jusqu'à l'aéronef ; un capteur optique dirigé vers le haut à partir du châssis ; une chaîne cinématique configurée de façon à accélérer et à décélérer le châssis le long d'une piste ; et un dispositif de commande configuré de façon à détecter un repère de référence optique disposé sur l'aéronef dans des images optiques enregistrées par le capteur optique et à ajuster une vitesse de la chaîne cinématique de façon à aligner longitudinalement l'élément d'alignement avec le récepteur d'alignement sur la base des positions du repère de référence optique détecté dans les images optiques, à déclencher le verrou de façon à venir en prise avec le récepteur de verrou une fois que l'aéronef est descendu sur le châssis, et à déclencher la chaîne cinématique de façon à décélérer activement le châssis pendant une procédure d'atterrissage.
