An in-wheel motor drive device (21) wherein lubricating oil (70) for placing a portion of a gear section (37) of an output gear (33) in an oil bath state is filled into a casing (22) that accommodates a speed reducer unit (B), and an oil sump formation part (71) is provided for the purpose of using the lubricating oil (70) carried up in conjunction with rotation of the output gear (33) to form an oil sump (72) in front of a meshing point (Mp) where meshing occurs between the output gear (33) and an intermediate gear (32). At least a portion of the oil sump formation part (71) is located on the inner-diameter side of the maximum addendum circle (C2) of the intermediate gear (32) meshing with the output gear (33).

L'invention concerne un dispositif (21) d'entraînement d'un moteur-roue. Dans le dispositif, de l'huile lubrifiante (70), servant à placer une partie d'une section (37) d'un engrenage de sortie (33) dans un état à bain d'huile, est introduite dans une enveloppe (22) destinée à loger une unité de réduction de vitesse (B), et une partie (71) de formation de carter d'huile est agencée dans le but d'utiliser l'huile lubrifiante (70) transportée conjointement avec la rotation de l'engrenage de sortie (33) pour former un carter d'huile (72) devant un point d'engrènement (Mp) où un engrènement se produit entre l'engrenage de sortie (33) et un engrenage intermédiaire (32). Au moins une portion de la partie (71) de formation de carter d'huile est située du côté diamètre interne du cercle de tête maximal (C2) de l'engrenage intermédiaire (32) s'engrenant avec l'engrenage de sortie (33).
