Abstract

A technique for verifying a geographical position of an unmanned aerial vehicle, UAV, is disclosed. A computing unit for executing a UAV application server residing in a cellular network and configured to verify a geographical position of a UAV connected to the cellular network comprises at least one processor and at least one memory, wherein the at least one memory contains instructions executable by the at least one processor such that the UAV application server is operable to receive (S202) UAV-based position information indicative of a current geographical position of the UAV determined by the UAV, trigger (S204) obtaining, from at least one entity of the cellular network and based on information associated with the UAV available in the cellular network, network-based position information indicative of a current geographical position of the UAV, and trigger (S206) verifying the UAV-based position information based on the network-based position information.

L'invention concerne une technique de vérification d'une position géographique d'un véhicule aérien sans pilote, UAV. Une unité de calcul conçue pour exécuter un serveur d'applications d'UAV résidant dans un réseau cellulaire et configuré pour vérifier une position géographique d'un UAV connecté au réseau cellulaire comprend au moins un processeur et au moins une mémoire. Ladite au moins une mémoire contient des instructions exécutables par ledit au moins un processeur de telle sorte que le serveur d'applications de l'UAV peut servir à : recevoir (S202) des informations de position basées sur l'UAV et indiquant une position géographique actuelle de l'UAV déterminée par l'UAV ; déclencher (S204) l'obtention, à partir d'au moins une entité du réseau cellulaire et sur la base d'informations associées à l'UAV disponibles dans le réseau cellulaire, d'informations de position basées sur le réseau et indiquant une position géographique actuelle de l'UAV ; et déclencher (S206) la vérification des informations de position basées sur l'UAV sur la base des informations de position basées sur le réseau.
