Abstract

Systems and methods are provided that facilitate multiple switching points within a slot. A slot format indication is conveyed to a user equipment which indicates which symbols within a slot are uplink, downlink or unknown. Some formats feature half-slot switching meaning that a switch from uplink to downlink transmission takes place twice within a slot. Switching on a more frequent basis can deliver improved latency.

L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés qui facilitent de multiples points de commutation à l'intérieur d'un créneau temporel. Une indication de format de créneau, qui indique quels symboles à l'intérieur d'un créneau sont de liaison montante, de liaison descendante ou inconnus, est transmise à un équipement utilisateur. Certains formats sont caractérisés par une commutation à mi-créneau, ce qui signifie qu'une commutation d'une transmission montante à une transmission descendante a lieu deux fois à l'intérieur d'un créneau. Cette commutation sur une base plus fréquente peut offrir une latence améliorée.
