The present invention relates to a measurement instrument (100) and a corresponding method for identifying a fiber blend composition and/or fiber blend ratio in an input material (108). The input material can be moved by a first fiber movement set at a first speed towards a second fiber movement set which provides the input material at a second speed to a sample sensing module (104), through which the input material is then moved by a third fiber movement set (126a, 126b). Electromagnetic radiation sources (114,120) direct radiation toward the input material (108) at first and second locations, and electromagnetic radiation sensors (116,122,124) are configured to receive the transmitted or reflected radiation. A controller (128) processes the signals from the sensors to determine the fiber blend composition and/or the fiber blend ratio in the input material (108). The controller (128) also sends control signals to the radiation sources and the fiber movement sets.

La présente invention concerne un instrument de mesure (100) et un procédé correspondant pour identifier une composition de mélange de fibres et/ou un rapport de mélange de fibres dans un matériau d'entrée (108). Le matériau d'entrée peut être déplacé par un premier ensemble de mise en mouvement de fibres à une première vitesse vers un deuxième ensemble de mise en mouvement de fibres qui fournit le matériau d'entrée à une seconde vitesse à un module de détection d'échantillon (104), dans lequel le matériau d'entrée est ensuite déplacé par un troisième ensemble de mise en mouvement de fibres (126a, 126b). Des sources de rayonnement électromagnétique (114, 120) dirigent un rayonnement vers le matériau d'entrée (108) à des premier et second emplacements, et des capteurs de rayonnement électromagnétique (116, 122, 124) sont configurés pour recevoir le rayonnement émis ou réfléchi. Un dispositif de commande (128) traite les signaux provenant des capteurs pour déterminer la composition de mélange de fibres et/ou le rapport de mélange de fibres dans le matériau d'entrée (108). Le dispositif de commande (128) envoie également des signaux de commande aux sources de rayonnement et aux ensembles de mise en mouvement de fibres.
