Abstract:
(EN) In accordance with one or more embodiments, a communication device includes a dielectric antenna having a body of first dielectric material doped with particles of a second dielectric material. A cable comprising a dielectric core is coupled to a feed point of the dielectric antenna. A transmitter, coupled to the cable, facilitates a transmission of electromagnetic waves, the electromagnetic waves are guided by the dielectric core to the feed point of the dielectric antenna, without requiring an electrical return path.
(FR) Selon un ou plusieurs modes de réalisation, l’invention concerne un dispositif de communication qui comprend une antenne diélectrique ayant un corps constitué d’un premier matériau diélectrique dopé avec des particules d'un second matériau diélectrique. Un câble comprenant une âme diélectrique est couplé à un point d'alimentation de l'antenne diélectrique. Un émetteur couplé au câble facilite une transmission d'ondes électromagnétiques, ces ondes électromagnétiques étant guidées par l’âme diélectrique vers le point d'alimentation de l'antenne diélectrique, sans nécessiter de trajet de retour électrique.
