A method of oxidizing a fluid includes providing a process fluid to a reactor at a first temperature, providing a heat transfer fluid in a recirculation loop to the reactor at a second temperature higher than the first temperature, and transferring heat from the heat transfer fluid to the process fluid within the reactor. At least one component of the process fluid is oxidized in an exothermic reaction to form a reaction product in the process fluid within the reactor after transferring heat from the heat transfer fluid to the process fluid. Heat is safely transferred from the process fluid to the heat transfer fluid within the reactor after formation of at least a portion of the reaction product.

Un procédé d'oxydation d'un fluide comprend la fourniture d'un fluide de traitement à un réacteur à une première température, la fourniture d'un fluide de transfert de chaleur dans une boucle de recirculation au réacteur à une seconde température supérieure à la première température, et le transfert de la chaleur du fluide de transfert de chaleur au fluide de traitement à l'intérieur du réacteur. Au moins un composant du fluide de traitement est oxydé dans une réaction exothermique pour former un produit de réaction dans le fluide de traitement à l'intérieur du réacteur après transfert de chaleur du fluide de transfert de chaleur au fluide de traitement. La chaleur est transférée en toute sécurité du fluide de traitement au fluide de transfert de chaleur à l'intérieur du réacteur après la formation d'au moins une partie du produit de réaction.
