Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a method for providing a product viewing window (16, 80) in a container (10). The container (10) has at least a body ply (12) and a liner ply (14), wherein the body ply (12) has at least one aperture (16) therethrough. The liner ply (14) is adhered to the inner surface (81) of the body ply (12) and has a portion extending across the aperture (16, 17), forming a window (16, 80) into the container (10). The method involves providing a window-finishing machine that comprises at least two platens and, optionally, a machine pocket (52, 67) positioned between them, a heating element (68) extending through at least one of the platens, and a pressurized air device (69) that is adapted to release pressurized air into the container (10) through at least one of the platens. The container (10) is engaged between the platens in an airtight manner and, optionally, the container window (16) is positioned adjacent the inside wall of the machine pocket (52, 67). The heating element (68) heats the window (16, 80) of the container (10) to the desired temperature, pressurized air is injected into the container (10) such that the window (16, 80) is forced at least partially through the aperture (16, 17) of the container (and optionally into contact with the machine pocket (52, 67) wall), and the container window (16) is then cooled to the desired temperature.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une méthode pour fournir une fenêtre de visualisation de produit (16, 80) dans un récipient (10). Le récipient (10) a au moins une couche structurelle (12) et une couche de doublage (14), la couche structurelle (12) ayant au moins une ouverture (16) à travers celle-ci. La couche de doublage (14) est collée à la surface interne (81) de la couche structurelle (12) et a une partie s'étendant à travers l'ouverture (16, 17), formant une fenêtre (16, 80) dans le récipient (10).
