Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine whether at least one frequency band, designated for device-to-device communication of the user equipment, is associated with an active SCC of the user equipment; and selectively perform the device-to-device communication using a particular communication chain of the user equipment based at least in part on whether the at least one frequency band is associated with the active SCC, wherein the particular communication chain is tuned to the at least one frequency band for communication using the active SCC. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Selon certains aspects, la présente invention se rapporte de manière générale à une communication sans fil. Dans certains aspects, un équipement d'utilisateur peut déterminer si au moins une bande de fréquences, désignée pour une communication de dispositif à dispositif de l'équipement d'utilisateur, est associée à une SCC active de l'équipement d'utilisateur ; et effectuer sélectivement la communication de dispositif à dispositif à l'aide d'une chaîne de communication particulière de l'équipement d'utilisateur en se basant au moins en partie sur le fait que ladite bande de fréquences est associée à la SCC active, la chaîne de communication particulière étant accordée à ladite bande de fréquences pour une communication à l'aide de la SCC active.
