Abstract:
(EN) Core/shell ionically-conductive particles are disclosed. The core particles contain ceramic electrolyte materials, and the shells are electronically-conductive. The core/shell particles can be combined with organic electrolytes to form composite organic-ceramic electrolytes that can be used in lithium battery cells. Such composite organic-ceramic electrolytes have been found to have improved lithium transport properties when compared to similar composite electrolytes made with ceramic electrolyte particles that do not have electronically-conductive shells.
(FR) L'invention concerne des particules conductrices d'ions à noyau-enveloppe. Les particules à noyau contiennent des matériaux d'électrolyte en céramique, et les enveloppes sont électroniquement conductrices. Les particules à noyau-enveloppe peuvent être combinées avec des électrolytes organiques pour former des électrolytes composites organiques-céramiques qui peuvent être utilisés dans des cellules de batterie au lithium. Il a été découvert que de tels électrolytes composites organiques-céramiques possèdent des propriétés de transport de lithium améliorées par rapport à des électrolytes composites similaires fabriqués avec des particules d'électrolyte céramique qui ne comportent pas d'enveloppes électroniquement conductrices.
