Abstract:
(EN) A system and method for analyzing narrative data based on a functional ontology using semiotic square functions to produce analyzed data outputs. A computer implemented method accesses narrative data and reads a semiotic square function data table for each verb in the sequence of words, each semiotic square function data table classifies at least one verb in each sentence pattern as a functional type and includes one or more words in a semiotic square relationship to the verb classified, the functional type applying at least one symmetrical relationship between a first actor and a second actor in the narrative data. The method parses each sentence which includes a verb matching a functional type to match sentence subjects and objects to an event template and outputs an analysis of the narrative data relative to a common story theme based on a sequence of event records.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant d'analyser des données narratives sur la base d'une ontologie fonctionnelle à l'aide de fonctions de carré sémiotique pour produire des sorties de données analysées. Un procédé mis en œuvre par ordinateur a accès à des données narratives et lit une table de données de fonction de carré sémiotique pour chaque verbe dans la séquence de mots, chaque table de données de fonction de carré sémiotique classifie au moins un verbe dans chaque motif de phrase en tant que type fonctionnel et comprend un ou plusieurs mots dans une relation de carré sémiotique par rapport au verbe classé, le type fonctionnel appliquant au moins une relation symétrique entre un premier acteur et un second acteur dans les données narratives. Le procédé analyse chaque phrase qui comprend un verbe correspondant à un type fonctionnel pour faire correspondre des sujets de phrase et des objets à un modèle d'événement et transmet une analyse des données narratives se rapportant à un thème d'histoire commun sur la base d'une séquence d'enregistrements d'événement.
