Abstract:
(EN) According to an aspect of the present inventive concept there is provided a method for diffusion weighted magnetic resonance imaging, comprising: generating by a gradient coil of a magnetic resonance imaging scanner a time-dependent magnetic field gradient G(t) = [Gx(t) Gy(t) Gz(t)]T, wherein the gradient G is asymmetric in time with respect to a refocusing pulse and wherein the gradient G is such that A = ∫0TE h(t)G(t)G(t)Tdt is zero, where TE is an echo time and /i(t) is a function of time which is positive during an interval prior to the refocusing pulse and negative during a time interval after the refocusing pulse.
(FR) Selon un aspect du présent concept, l'invention concerne un procédé d'imagerie par résonance magnétique pondérée par diffusion, comprenant les étapes consistant à : générer, par une bobine de gradient d'un scanner d'imagerie par résonance magnétique, un gradient de champ magnétique dépendant du temps G(t) = [Gx(t) Gy(t) Gz(t)]T, le gradient G étant asymétrique dans le temps par rapport à une impulsion de refocalisation et le gradient G étant tel que A = ∫0 TE h(t)G(t)G(t)Tdt soit nul, TE étant un temps d'écho et /i(t) étant une fonction de temps qui est positive pendant un intervalle avant l'impulsion de refocalisation et négative pendant un intervalle de temps après l'impulsion de refocalisation.
