Abstract:
(EN) The present invention addresses the problem of providing a feature for preserving cells or tissues in a non-frozen state while excellent survivability of the cells or tissues is maintained. Cells or tissues are preserved in a non-frozen state within a liquid composition that contains deacylated gellan gum or a salt thereof, and an acid polysaccharide or a salt thereof in which a random coil state is maintained in a divalent metal cation medium and which is cross-linked via divalent metal ions. The acid polysaccharide may be alginic acid. The liquid composition may furthermore contain calcium ions or other such metal cations.
(FR) La présente invention a pour objet une matière particulière pour la conservation de cellules ou de tissus dans un état non congelé avec le maintien simultané d'une remarquable capacité de survie des cellules ou des tissus. À cet effet, des cellules ou des tissus sont conservés dans un état non congelé dans une composition liquide qui contient de la gomme gellane désacylée ou un sel de celle-ci et un polysaccharide acide ou un sel de celui-ci dans lequel un état hélicoïdal aléatoire est maintenu dans un milieu contenant des cations métalliques divalents et qui est réticulé par l'intermédiaire d'ions métalliques divalents. Le polysaccharide acide peut être l'acide alginique. La composition liquide peut en outre contenir des ions calcium ou d'autres cations métalliques de ce type.
