Abstract:
(EN) The present invention involves manufacturing a starting material for a cerium-based abrasive agent by means of a step for dry milling a mixed rare earth oxide having a rare earth element content of 80% by mass or more in terms of oxides, and a cerium content of 50% by mass or more in terms of oxides relative to the rare earth element content in terms of oxides, said cerium-based abrasive agent comprising milled product having an untamped density of more than 0.60 g/cm3 and at most 1.50 g/cm3, and a cumulative 50% particle size volume distribution of 2-20 μm. The present invention also involves manufacturing a cerium-based abrasive agent by means of a manufacturing method which includes a step for pulverizing the starting material for the cerium-based abrasive agent.
(FR) La présente invention concerne la fabrication d’un matériau de départ pour un agent abrasif à base de cérium à l’aide d’une étape de broyage à sec d’un oxyde de terres rares mixte ayant une teneur en élément de terres rares de 80 % en masse ou plus en termes d’oxydes, et une teneur en cérium de 50 % en masse ou plus en termes d’oxydes par rapport à la teneur en élément de terres rares en termes d’oxydes, ledit agent abrasif à base de cérium comprenant un produit broyé ayant une densité non tassée supérieure à 0,60 g/cm3 et d’au plus 1,50 g/cm3, et une distribution en volume des tailles de particules de 50 % cumulée de 2 à 20 µm. La présente invention concerne également la fabrication d'un agent abrasif à base de cérium à l’aide d’un procédé de fabrication qui comprend une étape de pulvérisation du matériau de départ pour l’agent abrasif à base de cérium.
(JA) 全希土類元素の酸化物換算での含有量が80質量%以であり、前記全希土類元素の酸化物換算での含有量に対するセリウムの酸化物換算量での含有量が50質量%以上である混合酸化希土を乾式解砕処理する工程により、軽装かさ密度が0.60g/cm3超1.50g/cm3以下、かつ、体積分布50%累積値での粒子径が2μm以上20μm以下の解砕品からなるセリウム系研磨材用原料を製造し、また、該セリウム系研磨材用原料を粉砕する工程を含む製造方法によりセリウム系研磨材を製造する。
