Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a technology for more suitably adjusting the white balance with respect to an image after a backlight is subjected to local dimming control. An image processing device comprises: a first adjustment unit (13) for generating a first image signal where the white balance is adjusted using a first gain with respect to each primary color signal in an adjusted image signal having the gradation therein adjusted with the backlight subjected to local dimming control; a second adjustment unit (14) for generating a second image signal with respect to each primary color signal in the adjusted image signal, the second image signal having the white balance adjusted using a second gain resulting from changing the first gain for at least one of any of the primary color signal to a higher gain; and a weighted interpolation unit (15) for outputting an image signal resulting from applying a weighted interpolation to the first image signal and the second image signal on the basis of the backlight gradation due to the local dimming control.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une technologie pour ajuster de manière plus appropriée l'équilibre des blancs par rapport à une image après qu'un rétroéclairage a été soumis à une commande de gradation locale. Un dispositif de traitement d'image comprend : une première unité de réglage (13) pour générer un premier signal d'image où l'équilibre des blancs est ajusté à l'aide d'un premier gain par rapport à chaque signal de couleur primaire dans un signal d'image ajusté dans lequel la gradation est ajustée avec le rétroéclairage soumis à une commande d'atténuation locale; une seconde unité de réglage (14) pour générer un second signal d'image par rapport à chaque signal de couleur primaire dans le signal d'image ajusté, le second signal d'image ayant l'équilibre des blancs ajusté à l'aide d'un second gain résultant de la modification du premier gain pour au moins l'un quelconque du signal de couleur primaire à un gain plus élevé; et une unité d'interpolation pondérée (15) pour émettre un signal d'image résultant de l'application d'une interpolation pondérée au premier signal d'image et au second signal d'image sur la base de la gradation de rétroéclairage due à la commande d'atténuation locale.
