Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a display device that exhibits excellent display performance in multiple screen modes. This display device has: an image display unit that emits image display light having a first polarization axis; a beam splitter that transmits a portion of the image display light and reflects another portion of the image display light; a first dimmer member that can be switched between a first mode in which a first light having the first polarization axis is transmitted with a first transmittance, and a second light having a second polarization axis is transmitted with a second transmittance lower than the first transmittance at the same time, and a second mode in which the first light and the second light are transmitted with a third transmittance higher than the first transmittance; and a second dimmer member that can adjust the scattering intensity of transmitted light transmitting therethrough in this order.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage qui présente d'excellentes performances d'affichage dans de multiples modes d'écran. Le dispositif d'affichage comprend : une unité d'affichage d'image qui émet une lumière d'affichage d'image ayant un premier axe de polarisation ; un diviseur de faisceau qui transmet une partie de la lumière d'affichage d'image et réfléchit une autre partie de la lumière d'affichage d'image ; un premier élément gradateur qui peut être commuté entre un premier mode dans lequel une première lumière ayant le premier axe de polarisation est transmise selon un premier facteur de transmission, et une seconde lumière ayant un second axe de polarisation est transmise selon un deuxième facteur de transmission inférieur au premier facteur de transmission en même temps, et un second mode dans lequel la première lumière et la seconde lumière sont transmises selon un troisième facteur de transmission supérieur au premier facteur de transmission ; et un second élément gradateur qui peut ajuster l'intensité de diffusion de la lumière transmise qui transmet à travers celui-ci dans cet ordre.
(JA) 複数の画面モードにおいて優れた表示性能を発現する表示装置を提供する。この表示装置は、第1の偏光軸を有する画像表示光を発する画像表示部と、画像表示光のうちの一部を透過すると共に画像表示光のうちの他の一部を反射するビームスプリッタと、第1の偏光軸を有する第1の光を第1の透過率で透過させると共に第2の偏光軸を有する第2の光を第1の透過率よりも低い第2の透過率で透過させる第1モードと、第1の光および第2の光を前記第1の透過率よりも高い第3の透過率で透過させる第2モードとの切り替えが可能である第1の調光部材と、自らを透過する透過光の散乱強度を調節可能である第2の調光部材とを順に有する。
