Abstract
(EN) In this internal combustion engine that is transversely mounted in a straddle-type vehicle: an AC generator (40) which is provided to an axial end of a crankshaft (22) supported within a crankcase (23) is covered with an ACG cover (50) from the outer side in the vehicle width direction; the ACG cover (50) is provided with an electric feeder line cover bulge (53) that is formed to bulge outward in the vehicle width direction so as to cover an electric feeder line (43) leading to the ACG cover (50); and a crank angle sensor (45) is disposed rearward of the electric feeder line cover bulge (53) in the vehicle front-back direction. With this configuration, the present invention is able to avoid increase in the number of components and avoid weight increase of the internal combustion engine, and protects the crank angle sensor against flying rocks or the like.
(FR) L'invention concerne un moteur à combustion interne monté transversalement dans un véhicule de type à enfourcher, qui comprend un générateur de courant alternatif (40) disposé sur une extrémité axiale d'un vilebrequin (22) supporté à l'intérieur d'un carter de moteur (23), et recouvert d'un couvercle ACG (50) depuis le côté extérieur dans le sens de la largeur du véhicule. Le couvercle ACG (50) présente un renflement de couvercle de conduite d'alimentation électrique (53) formé en protubérance vers l'extérieur dans le sens de la largeur du véhicule, de façon à recouvrir une conduite d'alimentation électrique (43) menant au couvercle ACG (50); et un capteur de position du vilebrequin (45) est disposé à l'arrière du renflement de couvercle de conduite d'alimentation électrique (53) dans le sens avant-arrière du véhicule. Dans cette configuration, l'invention permet d'éviter une augmentation du nombre de composants et du poids du moteur à combustion interne; elle permet également de protéger le capteur de position du vilebrequin contre les cailloux volants ou similaires.
(JA) 鞍乗り型車両に横置きに搭載される内燃機関において、クランクケース(23)の内部に支持されるクランク軸(22)の軸端部に設けられたACジェネレータ(40)が、ACGカバー(50)により車幅方向の外側から覆われ、ACGカバー(50)には、同ACGカバー(50)への送電線(43)を覆う送電線カバー膨出部(53)が、車幅方向の外側方に膨出して形成され、送電線カバー膨出部(53)の車両前後方向における後方にクランク角センサ(45)が配置される。これにより、部品点数が増すことなく、内燃機関の重量増を避けて、クランク角センサを飛石等から保護することができる。
