Abstract:
(EN) A laminated glazing and related detection method is described. The laminated glazing has a detecting device to determine the presence of mist on a surface of the glazing and/or the presence of an object contacting or proximal the glazing. The detecting device comprises transmitter means for emitting a beam of electromagnetic radiation, detector means for detecting electromagnetic radiation and a target for non-specular reflection of first beam of electromagnetic radiation. The transmitter means is configured to emit the beam of electromagnetic radiation to illuminate the target such that electromagnetic radiation reflects therefrom to illuminate a region of a major surface of the glazing. At least a portion of the electromagnetic radiation reflected off the region is detectable by the detector means to provide a detection signal for detecting mist on the region and/or the presence of an object contacting or proximal the glazing. A detection method is also described.
(FR) L'invention concerne un vitrage feuilleté et un procédé de détection associé. Le vitrage feuilleté comporte un dispositif de détection permettant de déterminer la présence d'un brouillard sur une surface du vitrage et/ou la présence d'un objet en contact avec le vitrage ou à proximité de ce dernier. Le dispositif de détection comprend un moyen d'émission pour émettre un faisceau de rayonnement électromagnétique, un moyen de détection pour détecter un rayonnement électromagnétique et une cible de réflexion non spéculaire d'un premier faisceau de rayonnement électromagnétique. Le moyen d'émission est conçu pour émettre le faisceau de rayonnement électromagnétique pour éclairer la cible de telle sorte que le rayonnement électromagnétique est réfléchi par cette dernière pour éclairer une région d'une surface principale du vitrage. Au moins une partie du rayonnement électromagnétique réfléchi par la région peut être détectée par le moyen de détection pour fournir un signal de détection d'un brouillard sur la région et/ou de la présence d'un objet en contact ou à proximité du vitrage. L'invention porte également sur un procédé de détection.
