(EN) Method for starting a coolant circuit (100, 200, 300), comprising at least: -a first sub-circuit (120, 220, 320) in which there are arranged at least one compressor (122, 222, 322), a first heat exchanger (124, 224, 324) and a first expansion member (126, 226, 326), -a second sub-circuit (140, 240, 340) in which there are arranged at least one second expansion member (142, 242, 342), a second heat exchanger (144, 244, 344) associated with a drivetrain of the vehicle and a pump (146, 246, 346), -a third heat exchanger (162, 262, 362) common to the first sub-circuit (120, 220, 320) and to the second sub-circuit (140, 240, 340), the start-up method comprising at least one initial step of stopping the pump (146, 246, 346) and the compressor (122, 222, 322), and a step of starting the compressor (122, 222, 322) for a duration of less than 2 minutes. Application to motor vehicles.
