Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a tyre (1) for a heavy goods vehicle, which is designed to be mounted on a hollow wheel rim (J) (15° drop centre). According to the invention, the two working crown layers (61, 62) are all that are provided to form the crown reinforcement over at least 40% of the width of the tread (5), the absolute value of the difference between the absolute values of the angles α2 and α1 being greater than 4°, α2 being greater than α1 in terms of absolute value, the mean angle α satisfying the relationship 14+131*exp(-L/100) < α < 20+164*exp(-L/100) and, in a meridian section of the said tyre, the turn-up (7) of the carcass reinforcing layer and the main part (2) of the carcass reinforcing layer being the only layers of reinforcing elements with an elongation at break of less than 6% present in the sidewall.
(FR) L'invention concerne un pneumatique (1) de type poids lourd, destiné à être monté sur une jante (J) creuse (15° drop centre). Selon l'invention, les deux couches de sommet de travail (61, 62) sont seules présentes pour constituer l'armature de sommet sur au moins 40% de la largeur de la bande de roulement (5), la valeur absolue de la différence entre les valeurs absolues des angles α2 et α1 étant supérieure à 4°, α2 étant plus grand que α1 en valeur absolue, l'angle moyen α satisfaisant la relation 14+131*exp(-L/100) < α < 20+164* exp(-L/100), et dans une coupe méridienne dudit pneumatique, le retournement (7) de la couche d'armature de carcasse et la partie principale (2) de la couche d'armature de carcasse sont les seules couches d'éléments de renforcement dont l'allongement à rupture est inférieur à 6 % présentes dans le flanc.
