Abstract:
(EN) In accordance with the invention there is presented herein a method of synthesizing methane by 1-step co-electrolysis of H2O and CO2 in the presence of an electrolyte comprising at least one superprotonic conducting acid compound of the general formula (I) : MxHy(A04) z, wherein x is 1, 2, or 3; y is 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5; z is 1 or 2; M is at least one of Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Tl, NH4; and A is S, Se, P, As.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de synthèse de méthane par co-électrolyse de H2O et de CO2 en une étape, en présence d'un électrolyte comprenant au moins un composé acide conducteur superprotonique de formule générale (I) : MxHy(A04)z, où x vaut 1, 2 ou 3; y vaut 1, 2, 3, 4 ou 5; z vaut 1 ou 2; M est au moins un élément parmi Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Tl, NH 4; et A est S, Se, P, As.
