Abstract:
(EN) A method for determining the weight-average molecular weight and content of a soluble salt of an acidic sugar is provided. The metal ion content in the soluble salt of the acidic sugar is used to correct the resulting weight-average molecular weight and content of the acidic sugar measured by a size-exclusion chromatography multi-angle laser light scattering (SEC-MALS) detector. In the method, the weight-average molecular weight and content of the soluble salt of the acidic sugar can be measured more quickly and accurately.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de détermination du poids moléculaire moyen en poids et du contenu d'un sel soluble d'un sucre acide. La teneur en ions métalliques dans le sel soluble du sucre acide est utilisée pour corriger le poids moléculaire moyen en poids résultant et le contenu du sucre acide mesuré par un détecteur de diffusion de lumière laser multi-angle de chromatographie d'exclusion stérique (SEC-MALS). Dans le procédé, le poids moléculaire moyen en poids et la teneur du sel soluble du sucre acide peuvent être mesurés plus rapidement et avec précision.
