Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a hollow plastic-composite component for use as a self-sealing housing or self-sealing strap in conjunction with one or two metal components to be enclosed in the composite component. The component consists of a shell formed by a wall, wherein two seals are provided on the inner side of the shell. The seals are arranged at a distance from one another and run in the circumferential direction. Endless fibres are embedded in the plastic, which fibres for the most part run substantially transverse to the longitudinal axis in the circumferential direction of the shell. This makes it possible to produce a plastic-composite component with a very small coefficient of thermal expansion.
(FR) L'invention concerne une pièce composite en matière plastique creuse destinée à être utilisée comme boîtier auto-étanche ou collier de serrage auto-étanche en association avec une ou deux pièces métalliques à entourer par la pièce composite. La pièce est constituée d'une enveloppe formée par une paroi, deux joints d'étanchéité étant prévus sur la face intérieure de l'enveloppe. Les joints sont disposés à distance l'un de l'autre et s'étendent dans la direction circonférentielle. Dans la matière plastique sont incorporées des fibres continues qui s'étendent en majeure partie transversalement à l'axe longitudinal dans la direction circonférentielle de l'enveloppe. On obtient ainsi un élément composite en matière plastique présentant un coefficient de dilatation thermique très faible.
(DE) Hohles Kunststoff-Composite-Bauteil zur Verwendung als selbstdichtendes Gehäuse oder selbstdichtende Bride in Verbindung mit einem oder zwei vom Composite-Bauteil zu umschliessenden Metall-Bauteilen. Das Bauteil besteht aus einem durch eine Wand gebildeten Mantel, wobei an der Innenseite des Mantels zwei Dichtungen vorgesehen sind. Die Dichtungen sind im Abstand voneinander angeordnet und verlaufen in Umfangsrichtung. Im Kunststoff sind Endlosfasern eingebettet, die mehrheitlich im Wesentlichen quer zur Längsachse in Umfangsrichtung des Mantels verlaufen. Dadurch ist ein Kunststoff-Composite-Bauteil mit einem sehr kleinen thermischen Ausdehnungskoeffizienten herstellbar.
