Abstract:
(EN) A decoupler pulley is provided for automotive belt-driven accessory drives, which utilizes a single torsion coil spring that provides torsional resiliency and overrunning functionality. As the torsion spring expands it increasingly pinches a bushing disposed between a radially expansible hub and pulley to thereby provide proportional damping.
(FR) L'invention concerne une poulie de découpleur destinée à des entraînements d'accessoires entraînés par courroie d'automobile, qui utilise un seul ressort hélicoïdal de torsion qui fournit une élasticité en torsion et une fonctionnalité de roue libre. Lorsque le ressort de torsion se dilate, il pince de plus en plus une douille disposée entre un moyeu radialement expansible et une poulie pour ainsi procurer un amortissement proportionnel.
