Particular embodiments of the invention related to a wind turbine (10).The wind turbines (10) are vertical wind turbines for, for example, locating in build environments for commercial or residential use. The wind turbines (10) are particular useful because they are adapted to be selectively disassembled and assembled allowing transportation thereof in a flat pack for delivery to the consumer. The wind turbines (10) are adapted to increase the torque that is applied to the rotation axis of the wind turbine (10) when impinging onto the blade assembly of the wind turbines (10). The increased torque is produced due to the presence of arched sections (50) at outer edges (48) of the blade sections (44) of the wind turbine (10).

Des modes de réalisation particuliers de l'invention concernent une éolienne (10). Les éoliennes (10) sont des éoliennes verticales permettant, par exemple, de se trouver dans des environnements de construction pour une utilisation commerciale ou résidentielle. Les éoliennes (10) sont particulièrement utiles parce qu'elles sont conçues pour être désassemblées et assemblées de manière sélective, ce qui permet de les transporter en kit pour les livrer au client. Les éoliennes (10) sont conçues pour augmenter le couple qui est appliqué à l'axe de rotation de l'éolienne (10) lorsqu'il est incident sur l'ensemble pale des éoliennes (10). Le couple accru est produit en raison de la présence de sections arquées (50) au niveau des bords extérieurs (48) des sections de pale (44) de l'éolienne (10).
